Wow, I had the pleasure of staying at a 4-star property with free WiFi. I could enjoy golfing, fishing, and cycling nearby. The beds were comfy and the shower was power-packed. Impressive!
It was so entertaining to puncture my leg on sharp oven corners while trying to reach the sink. Hilarious!

We had a fantastic time casting our lines and trying our luck at catching some local favorites. The surrounding area offered breathtaking views and calm waters, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quality family time.
My children wanted more outdoor activities available for families.

Alright, now for the few upsides. the location was pretty central, can't deny that. And having a reserved parking space was a plus. I mean, at least we didn't have to worry about finding a spot in town. Oh, and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. I have to admit, getting a good night's sleep was a relief. And hey, the shower was pretty powerful, just like we have at home. I guess that was something to be grateful for in this whole disappointment of a weekend.
So, where do I start? First of all, the house was way smaller than it looked in the photos.

Enjoyed the "world-class" WiFi that was slower than dial-up. Loved the proximity to activities like golfing and fishing, as if I'm ever going to do either. The holiday home had a seating area, microwave, and dining area for all the gourmet cooking I didn't do.
So disappointed that I didn't have a spa-like bathtub and the TV was only the size of a postage stamp. Oh wait, I almost forgot to mention the "lovely" sachets of milk and artificial flowers in the welcome pack.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The decoration in the cottage was simply lovely, with beautiful touches that made it feel cozy and inviting. The general areas were well-maintained and clean, making it easy for senior folks like myself to navigate around. Additionally, the accessibility of the hotel, with reserved parking and a central location, made exploring the town a breeze.
It would have been nice if there was a bit more assistance available from the children working there. Just a friendly greeting or some helpful tips would have made our stay even more enjoyable.

The Millgate Cottage in Conwy was absolutely delightful! The rooms were cozy and comfortable, making us feel right at home. And guess what? We had not one, but two bathrooms. One had a bath, and the other had a shower. It was perfect for our family, as it meant no fighting over who gets to use it first. We loved how clean and well-maintained everything was. It truly added to the overall enjoyment of our stay.
One thing that didn't quite hit the mark for us was that two of the bathrooms only had showers. We do enjoy a good soak in the tub, so it would have been nice to have that option available.

We were actually surprised by the cleanliness and attention to detail at Millgate Cottage. The welcome pack and fresh flowers added a lovely touch to our stay. The location within the town walls was very nice, and having a reserved parking space was a major plus.
We did encounter a few minor issues. The downstairs area was smaller than expected, and maneuvering around the oven door was a bit tricky.
